Jones Beach Interactive Seating Chart

The Jones Beach Theater Seating Chart is somewhat straightforward. Therefore, what you see is what you get most of the time.

However, there are many different Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater seating chart maps, and most don’t include seat numbers, row numbers, or even all of the sections. This blog provides a seating chart for Jones Beach. Oh, and by the way, we have cheap Jones Beach Theater Tickets.

Jones Beach Theater Seating Chart Information

The Jones Beach Theater is an outdoor venue, so the sound quality can vary significantly depending on your seating location.  Follow our tips below, and you’ll get the best seats to the Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater within your budget. Remember that the venue used to be called Nikon at Jones Beach Theater.

Orchestra Level: Sections B, C, D, E, G, and H all have seat 1 on the side of the section closest to the center of the venue. Section A is in the center of the venue but follows the same rules as sections B, D, H, and F.  So, the best seats in the stadium would be the middle seats in A (Each Row in Section A has between 16 and 26 Seats, so any seat between 8 and 12 in A will be great).

To ensure you are as close to the center as possible, your next best bet is to get tickets as close to seat #1 in each of the other 8 orchestra sections. Avoid the higher numbers, especially in Sections C & D, because views are often extreme from these angles.

Note: There’s typically no GA pit set up for Jones Beach concerts.

Stadium Level: The sections at the stadium level follow a much more conventional pattern.  The seats on the far right-hand side are always labeled one when looking towards the stage.  Each row in the Stadium Level contains between 13 and 18 seats. For your best viewing experience, consider grabbing a seat in the 7-9 range in sections 7R, 8R, 9L, or 10L.

Mezzanine: The Mezzanine seats follow the same order as the Stadium Level. The seats on the far right-hand side are always labeled one when looking towards the stage. This means that middle-numbered seats (7-15) in section 22 are probably your best bet.  Don’t be discouraged by the ‘mezzanine’ label.  I’ve personally sat in these sections on several occasions.

The venue is smaller, meaning every house seat is solid. The top tiers also offer fantastic views of Jones Beach State Park, Zach’s Bay, and the Long Island coastline. However, on a windy day, the sound quality can be slightly muffled from the mezzanine because this is an outdoor venue.

Note: The Jones Beach Theater now serves alcohol and features multiple bars for patrons to enjoy while attending a concert. Additionally, parking is free, and they have two enormous lots that can accommodate more concert-goers than on any given day. If you want to drink, grab a DD, pack a cooler, get there early, and enjoy the summer sun. Watch out for the police, who can be strict, especially as the place clears out.

How To Get To Jones Beach Theater

It’s easily accessible from all points on Long Island and is only about a 40-minute journey from Manhattan by car. Take the Meadowbrook Parkway or the Wantagh Parkway south and follow the signs to Jones Beach Amphitheater. Parking is free after 5.

If you don’t have a car, take the Babylon line on the LIRR to Freeport from Penn Station, and take about a 10-minute cab ride. It takes a little longer, but for those of you looking to tailgate, this is easily your best option.

    We have section GA3, seats 40 and 41 in the pit area. Is that standing only or are they actual seats??

      The GA section is typically in front of the stage at this venue and acts as a pit with no seats and standing room only

    are there any seats that are particularly good for little kids to be able to view the stage without fear of a 6’5″ giant standing in front of them? basically any seats where there is guaranteed vertical drop-off right in front of them? also, do you know how many seats are in the VIP boxes? VIP box 7 (4 tickets) is avail for a show I’m looking at and wondering if that would be a good solution. thanks!
